Editorial rules:

A manuscript submitted to JAMCM is subject to a preliminary verification by the Subject, Statistical and Technical Editors. Editors also check the detailed information about the Author's and each co-author's contribution (filled in the Declaration form and the License to publish) - in order to counteract scientific dishonesty such as "Ghostwriting" and "Ghost authorship".

At the same time, the manuscript is examined by use of plagiarism detection software to verify the originality and ensure the quality of the written work.

If the manuscript is initially accepted by the Editors, it is then submitted for review (according to the Reviewing procedure - see below).

The Executive Editor transmits the final decision to the Author(s) about the admission or the rejection of a manuscript accompanied by the reviewers' comments.

Reviewing procedure:

  • evaluating each publication calls for at least three independent reviewers from outside the research unit affiliated by the author of the publication,
  • the reviewer signs a declaration of no conflict of interest, whereby a conflict of interest occurs when there is a direct personal relationship between the reviewer and the author (in particular affinity to the second degree, marriage), professional subordination or direct scientific cooperation in the last two years preceding the year the review is prepared,
  • the written review contains an unambiguous conclusion of the reviewer concerning the conditions of publication/release of the reviewed article or its rejection,
  • the review form containing the criteria for eligibility or rejection of the publication is on the website of the journal: Article review,
  • the names of the reviewers of each publication are not disclosed.

Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

Authors must be upright in presenting their results and conclusions of their research. Fabrication or selective reporting of results with the intent to mislead or deceive is unethical.

Plagiarism: Reproducing text from other papers without properly indicating the source (plagiarism) or producing a lot of papers with almost the same content by the same authors (self-plagiarism) is not acceptable. Submitting the same manuscripts to more than one journal simultaneously is unethical. Authors may not present results obtained by others as own. Authors should acknowledge the work of others used in their research and cite their publications. All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism and self-plagiarism (duplicating substantial parts of authors' own published work).

Duplicate submission: Simultaneous submissions of the same manuscript to different journals are not acceptable. The submitted article will be withdraw without consideration.
